Hooray! Tom has received a prestigious Gold Award in Black & White
Magazine's Single Image Contest 2011 for an image that will be published in
the Special Issue #80 of the magazine. That issue is scheduled to arrive on
newsstands the first week in December. There are only 15 winners in this
category from thousands of entries from across the globe. Black & White
Magazine ( http://www.bandwmag.com ) is a high-quality journal for collectors
of fine photography sold in 50 countries.

Silent auction to benefit non-profit Hudson Valley organization

"Arched Willow over North Bay", black and white silver gelatin print # 5 of a limited edition series will be auctioned to raise funds for Hudsonia, a non-profit group of scientists conducting environmental research, education, training and technical assistance to protect the natural heritage of the Hudson Valley.

The 16 x 20 auction print is matted, glassed and classically presented in a black wood frame. It is on view at Hudsonia's main office at 7539 North Broadway (Rt 9) in the village of Red Hook, NY.  Building is at rear of property.
